The Pristine Waters of the Kishwaukee

People come from near and far to enjoy the tranquil and clear water of the Kishwaukee for paddling, hiking, fishing, biking, or to simply sit by the river and watch it roll by.  Those who know it, love it as a precious gem.  The Kishwaukee is hailed as one of the cleanest streams in Illinois.  However, the integrity of this beloved river is now being threatened by the proposed 2030 plan to zone the Kishwaukee industrial.
